Restore Your Smile
Depending on your particular needs and unique condition, our team can develop a treatment plan that utilizes restorative techniques to successfully repair how your mouth functions. We proudly offer a range of restorative dentistry services for our patients to choose from. We strive to achieve the best results and improve both the function and aesthetics of your teeth.
Crowns and Bridges
You may need a dental crown and bridge if your teeth are missing, broken, cracked, or decayed. Spaces between teeth can greatly impact oral health, so putting a bridge in place of the gap can stop teeth from shifting and spreading infection. Crowns can protect your underlying teeth and can also be used in any part of the mouth. After treatment, our patients experience improvement in functionality as well as the appearance of their smiles.
Fillings
The days of wearing metal fillings will soon be gone. Our office provides fillings that blend with the rest of your teeth and look and feel like the natural tooth. White fillings can protect your teeth from any future damage, such as decay.
Dental Implants
We recommend dental implants for patients with damaged or missing teeth who are not suited for root canal therapy. The process has several steps, including:
- extracting the damaged or decayed tooth
- adding a synthetic bone graft to the opening left in your gums and jaw
- surgically placing a titanium screw into the jawbone
- attaching a surgical crown to the screw underneath the gums via an attachment called an abutment
In total, the process takes about 6 months to complete.
Tooth Extractions
A tooth extraction procedure involves completely removing the tooth from the gum socket. Generally, extractions require a local anesthetic to first numb the affected area so you don’t feel any pain. Our dentists will then loosen the tooth in the gum with an elevator and place forceps around the tooth in order to easily pull it from the root of the gum. It is common to experience mild bleeding immediately after treatment, so we’ll place gauze in the area to stop it. The numbness in your mouth will wear off a few hours following the procedure.
